Dear Hope Members,
Hope Lutheran Church has sustained water damage in the Sanctuary due to the recent weather. Also, the church is without electricity and there is no way to dry the carpet.
Therefore, worship tomorrow will be held on the church grounds at 9:00 am only. Worship will be in the form of a blended service with Steve Hawkins on guitar and Cathy Peterson on the battery operated keyboard. Wear cool clothes, including head protection – apply sunscreen – and bring your lawn chairs. Pastors Wendy & Joel are in Spokane WA this weekend. Matt Cleaver will be giving the sermon. There will be no communion.
The phone tree is run through Karine’s computer and is not available because of lack of power.

The presenters are Pastor Wendy Berthelsen and Steve Harr. Pastor Wendy A.W. Berthelsen is pastor of ministry in daily life. Previously she was a biomedical engineer, receiving three US Patents. Steve Harr is a business attorney and founding partner of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. The presenters have nearly thirty years of combined experience teaching about God’s unique call.
Together with their spouses, they are co-founders of Call Inc. (www.callinc.org), a non- profit Christian teaching mission dedicated to helping individuals discover God’s unique call by providing seminars and resources to assist in custom designing a life, family, church, or organization around God’s call.
