We believe in the Holy Trinity and the important roles of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are saved by grace through faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again so that we are justified with God, our sins are forgiven, and that He has opened the door to those who repent and accept His grace by believing in Him.
We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God, and that Christ died for the sins of all; however, John 3:18 tells us that only those who believe in Jesus Christ will be saved.
We believe that the Bible is the only source of God’s Word and that it was breathed out by God, not by men.
We celebrate two sacraments: Holy Baptism, through which the Holy Spirit enters into our hearts, claims us, and takes up residence; and Holy Communion where the real presence of Jesus' body and blood unite us with Him and with all true Christians around the world.
We profess the three ecumenical creeds: the Apostle's Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
Our services contain a corporate confession of our sins, prayers, hymns, scripture readings, a message taken from scripture, and Holy Communion (which we celebrate each week).
You do not need to be a Lutheran to benefit from our services. Most Lutheran congregations are made up of people from all Christian denominations: Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Roman Catholics, Bible churches, etc. In the creeds we state that we belief in the one universal Christian Church and the communion of saints (meaning all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior).
